picked up the next new flat track 70 project and a 85 parts Big Red (PICS)

craigslist will be the death of me..just thought i would get that out there... just picked this up tonight for 150.00 runs needs a little carb work to run right but has almost new cobra exhaust on it which i need for the bandit bike project(this bike)...which i figure was at least $120 worth of the 150 i gave for it...anyone have an idea of what the tank is from?? i thought it might be off of an elsinor motorcross bike but they mount different or an SL but that doesnt match either..and i know i need to get the over spray paint off everything...my newest quote is "some people shouldnt have sharp objects and others shouldnt have spray paint"

here are the pics of the 85 big red....seen this thing last year in front of the garage at a house i drive by and this year they moved it to the woods..so i thought i would stop and see if they wanted to sell it...he said $75....i said $40..he took $50 :lol:

picked up for just parts...its a sad thing that the speedo had to be in that shape....some people dont know what they had

yeah the kid had some stories about it...they live on a farm and he said that his buddy was riding it once and a deer hit him and took him off the big red and the trike rolled into the woods... said it ran and drove last summer...how far and how fast ill never know haha

Too bad the guy had to rattle can that 70 before he sold it. Electrical tape is another thing some people shouldn't have access to.

the tank on that 70 reminds me of the tank that was on a old Suzuki dirt bike i had it was like a early 70's late 60's and the cylinder said it was a 115cc

thanks max sorry i was able to get that swingarm off of ya but i couldnt pass this up lol...and thanks again on the info on that Ebay store..i looked it up and found some parts pretty cheap through there... now instead of just the R to put together now i have this project 70 lol starting to run out of space!
