trx 300 motor in a Bigred?

Would a 1990 trx 300 2x4 motor fit in a 250 bigred? and if so would i really notice much of a difference in power?

that be nice to install one... lots of power but you would lose the Super Low gear. and probably some low end torque.

Yes it fit,You have to change the output drive and swap the electrical I think,but the motor is bolt on.

i'm looking for a old 300 trx to swap out the motor and swinger on my 86 250sx. i guess the swinger bolts in also and its like 2" longer then the sx!

anyone know if the gears in the rear end would swap out?300trx housing with sx gears?
