axle interchange? 200x?

for some reson search dont work on my end. might be my computer??

anyways are they any axle swap options for a83-95 200x??? bent my axle and local parts guy wants way to much for a used axle

hahaha my bad!!! 83-85.. sorry eye balls a little blurry yet from boucing around all day riding on a bent axle...

i am planning on buying from a 3ww member.. im just curious as to any inter change options in case i bend another axle

81-82 250R....but you will need run the R sprocket.

82 -250r is the other option but you loose the 200x sprocket hub and have to use a 250r sprocket and their hard to find in different sizes .

A competent machine shop can usually straighten a bent axle.

Anytime you bend a piece of metal you probably weaken it a little bit but I wouldn't worry about it. I had a straightened axle on my 250R when I first built it without any problems and I know of plenty of other people that have had no problems too. As long as they don't heat it to straighten it there won't be much loss of strength. They need to straighten it in a press.

ok.. maybe ill just go this route instead of buying a diff axle right now.. if i bent it again ill just have to go HD i think i ride this 200x harder than it should be... trying to get my buddy to talk to her brother about coming off his 83/4 air fooler R with dg gold head and dg pipe
