Honda shaft

Which Honda's had the shaft? I have a chance to buy one for $300 and the guy only knows it has new tire and a shaft. He didnt mention reverse, but cant count that out, do to him not"knowing" any more about the trike.

Beleive mudbug is correct. 82 was the first big red, 84 200es was the first shaft drive trike and all Big reds and 250sx thereafter were also shaft. Sound to be a good deal possibly. Good luck

the 250's were the best shaft trikes. cant beat rear suspension and a bigger motor!
