View Full Version : ATC 200 '83 Before/after (Pics)

Last week i bought a ATC 200 1983 for 220$......
It was in snow up to the seat and had no recoil starter on it,...so the magneto full snow!!
The carb was not correctly install,...the spark plug had a poor fire,.....

It look like that when i pick it up.....:

Without bearing,...just teflon bushing!!!!!

The frame was paint like that (on red primer).....Not swell,..but ready to paint!! BLACK!

The ATC 200 '83.......:220$
The 250R front end ..:100$
Teflon...................: 20$
Handlebar..............: 20$
Fork oil, hose/gaz filter,
paint,etc................: 40$ aprox.

For less than 400$

Makes a good low-budget trikes!!!!! I think!

One of my friends have used it yes!
Others used metal bushing and it work very well too,...little free play and grease!

I have never seen that used in forks, interesting.

After watching all your vids, your bike fits you to a "T".

That's great! Something different than the restored trikes. I think the only thing I would change if it were mine would be to paint the tank and engine flat black like the rest.

i had (kinda still have) one like that but it wheelie's way too easy ..... i think the top pic looks the best but its your dream

Usually i paint all in black,..my 200m was all black! But now one of my friends have one all black,...and want to be little different!! So my new concept is to keep the gaz tank stock( in remember to the origine of the trike,LOL)!!

You'll maybe change your idea!!.......Its the day and night!!

Ok, It seem clean before so,... it just like clean (on the first pic)
And me too I like an original one(stock I mean), but this one one was destinate to go racing with my bunch of trikers!!!
