Hey all.
Good to be back again. Not sure if any of you remember me or not.

I've been out of the game for a while, But back in it now with a 83 200x! Hopefully, Im going to restore this one..

I got a quick little problem with it.. The kick starter dose not catch when I try to kick the motor over, aswell the return spring dosent work on it either. Anyone ever have this problem??

Also. How Do I tighten the chain? I cant seem to find a tensioner, and I guess Its not the same as a 200s Where you Pull the whole axle back right?

Thanks for your help everyone.

Chain adjust is at the swing arm bolt . Sounds like your kicker needs both springs replaced and back cut the ratchet so it will grab again .

chain is easy fix,the kickstart is not so easy.very doable but not a quick fix.

the kick starter ratchet is worn. u need to get a new one. its a job but to fix it right you hafta get a new ratchet ! i tore mine apart and it didnt look 2 bad so i cleaned it up with a file and put it all back together and walla nope. i cheaped out and paid the price, so pull the motor back out and did it again... but with a new ratchet... good luck and have fun..:(
