Hello guys! I am curious if anyone here knows of a reinforcement "kit" that is made for the 350X. I am wanting to brace up the frame on my 85 before I do the painting and finish the motor. I know I have seen a lot of guys talk about this, but have never seen parts for sale. Maybe it's just something that's a custom thing to do. If anyone on here has something that they have done in the past and have specs on parts, I would be interested in paying for the pieces too. Any info would be appreciated, THANKS!

Thanks for the info guys. Hey dirtcrasher, do you have any more pics of all the places you reinforced on the frame? Just curious of where all the weak spots are. Someone mentioned on your thread about the support under the seat? I can have a guy do the welding for me, but like t oinstruct on where the needs are. BTW, those pegs and guards are FANTASTIC! NICE JOB! I just might be sending u a PM before long to duplicate them.
Thanks again!

Here is the 1st one I did, I'm not sure if it's shown but I build up and gusset under the seat post too, they are prone to cracking esp. if your a bigger guy.

This is the Topic : http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php?91917-350X-Frame-gusseting-and-reinforcing-Another-one&highlight=frame%20gussets

I can take a picture of the "under the seat area" as I still have a frame here that I worked on.........

It takes a good day to cut them out and grind/weld them in. Read the whole posts, the gussets are just extra insurance, the real issue is the top left motor mount and the 86 frame improvement did next to nothing. If someone were to work on there frame, that is by far the most important area to deal with. I wrap it with another piece of tubing and re-fit that top mount and it has to be SPOT-ON!

I'd cut you and sell you gussets but I can't do it and make any money at it so I avoid doing it that way. If you lived closer, I'd be happy to do the work on your frame but most guys are terrified of the shipping charge. Depending on what carrier you use and how your package the frame it can be as little as 60$ to ship the frame but that is still too much for some people to do it.

Although it takes me about 8hrs, I charge 175$ to gusset the frame including materials...........

More work I've done: http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php?101225-Stretched-DEEPA-s-ATC70-frame-3-s&highlight=frame+gussets

That topic is about ATC70 frame stretching.....

Do it once and DO IT RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
