Can you use an innertube in a tubeless tire if they are the same size? 25/12/9 to be exact!

I was curious about tubes i heard they put atc tire balance way off is this true, i have some cracks and wanted to use tube but i assume this is not safe to do ..is it ?

I don't think you'll have a problem. I only have tubes in my 110 so it's not a big deal. I'm not sure how they would act on something with more power and wheel spin, like an R.

I HATE tubes. But, they are necessary in some cases and can work fine.

Like John said though, wheeel spin and tubes can be a bad combo. I can't imagine the stem staying in place for long on a 250R with an aggressive tire pattern.......

I bet a tube in a 70 or 110 would last a long time!

It use to always cost me 20$ for a tube and 15 or 25 to put one in. 3 months later when the tube died I wondered why I didn't just get a new tire, :D

i have never had problems with tubes, never and balance problems on faster machines. i normally go 1 size smaller on the tube that way it stretches and don't fold up and pinch and slowly rub a hole in itself.

Be sure and use extra powder to keep the tube from chaffing inside the tire. Baby powder works great.
