atc250 sx exhaust

Can exhausts from other 3-wheelers work on this bike, like a suppertrapp system off a 200x, I would like a suppertrapp slip on, but maybe other exhausts can also work this can widen my search, I dont want a cobra system or a dg............Jeff 85250sx

There's not many options. Cobra makes one, or you might find a Supertrapp slip on on Evilbay. If you're going to go that far, get a 350X carb(direct bolt on, I've heard), really wakes that turd up!

Of course other models can be made to work, but are you capable?? Sometimes it's just a midpipe, but it may have a slight bend and may require welding. Tig is ABSOLUTELY the best for exhaust welding and mig isn't too bad either. But cobbling together an exhaust never makes anyone very happy...............

There are 250SX Supertrapps out there. Jeff, HONDA250SX has a very nice unit on his SX. So, either wait till one turns up, post a WTB in the classifieds or find a ST silencer and cone and make up a midpipe. Or pay a muffler shop to make up a midpipe which is what a few members have done very successfully...

IDK whats better than Supertrapp? They look great, sound great, there tuneable and they mount up well.

If however a person is to mount ANY exhaust up half arse, they will crack at the aluminum mounting point.

I love ST and I try to run it on every ATV/ATC I own :D

I'm thinking about putting a 350x carb on my 250sx. I've seen the Cobra pipes online. Do those flow better than the stock pipe?

the cobra is soo loud, Not good for bush riding if thats your plan

Cobra pipes suck in my opinion. Had one on my 350X... Worst waste of money...

White brothers also made exhaust systems for the 250s. keep a eye on ebay

Cobra pipes suck, way too loud! I am in the same boat as you drummer but with my Big Red 250, think I might get a HMF off ebay & make it work!
