Hey guys, has anyone put 400ex rear rims and tires on a 1986 200x? both have 4/110 bolt patterns. I am wondering what the offset situation is -it would be cool if it would give it a wider stance in the rear. Let me know what you guys know.

It will definitely make it wider especially if you use 400ex hubs also. I'm just not sure by how much. Maybe a couple inches.

I put 400EX wheels and tires on my 200X with stock hubs at first and it widened it by an inch or two. I then put 300EX hubs on the axles with the 400EX wheels and it kicked it out by another two or three inches. The thing is so wide and so sweet, I love it. You can typically find 300EX hubs on Ebay, and try to get the lug nuts for them as well because 300EX and 400EX wheels require acorn style lug nuts, which are like $4 a piece at the dealer.

yes all trx rear wheels fit on the 200x. stoke ones are 3" in 5" out. with wheels only your 200x will sit 44" wide. with stock 300ex/400ex hubs it will fit 45.5" wide. the hubs add another .75" per side.
the bike will ride and turn alot better i did it to my last one.
