just picked up a 250sx and was wondering what other rear wheels/spindles would fit this machine (350x)maybe to give some custom wheel options, and also the front. it seems like most riders convert the front forks over to a 350x giving you front disc brakes, also looking for a super trapp exhaust for it... thanks new member

most members do not use 350x front end on this bike, they use 200x. i am not sure if 300ex/400ex/450r hubs fit on or not. i do know 450R hubs are 1/8" shorter in offset compaied to 300ex/400ex which would add 1.5" for the bike.

i think the hubs are 24" spines but i might be wrong.

Welcome to the boards! As stated, most use the 200x front end on the SX, as they are cheaper and easier to find. However, the 350x does work too, it just gives the front end a taller stance. You can get a new exhaust for them around 150$ or so. I have never tried any other hubs on the SX and you also have to watch out for the drum when adding different wheels.
here is a pic of my project SX I am working on with an 85 200x front end on it and the other is one of my 86 models I build with 350x wheels.

^ X2 the hubs fit into a seal and bearing, they're are unlike any non-diff solid axle rear suspension........

Drop ChrisD a PM. He's got 20" Holeshots on 9" rims on the back of his 250SX. He originally bought them for and used them on his 250R so that should give you some info as to what works.

Hey Thorpe, nice BR. Can you get a bigger/closer pic of it. I got a BR project that needs some new shoes.
