Front forks swap

I was wondering anyone knew whether a 85 Honda 200X front forks will fit on a 85 Honda 250 SX? Mine got trashed by a friend who climbed a hill that he shouldn't have.

I think you can put them on, but you need to change the tire and all with it. 200X forks I've heard are a big improvement over stock 250SX's.
