Guys, what is missing on my motor right under the water pump? I am leaking oil out of a 1/8 round hole that the casting is molded around. Any help would be great and thanks.

i imagine your speaking of the weep hole on the underside of the cover. if the waterpump seal is bad it will leak coolant out that hole. dont think its missin anything.

It seems to be leaking oil from that hole in the casting when motor is running. It really poors out. It doesn't seem to be anti-freeze, what do you think? the seal on the pump has no leaks visiable. Thanks

inside that cover is an impeller, oil seal, bearing, and water seal. If the oil seal goes bad you can get oil to leak out of that hole but its really meant for coolant. Check for oil in the coolant first. If you have your overflow bottle hooked up and its working you should see a layer of oil on top of the coolant. Order all 3 parts (bearing, oil seal, waterpump seal) as well as a clutch cover and waterpump cover gasket and do it all at once.
