Well after exstenive research on google I found that I was somewhat limited to my search option with my Yamaha. So I went to an multi-search engine, meaning when I search something, I use one search engine to search 4 or five search engines at once! I have found that Dogpile search Engine is the best for Yamaha parts! Basically you go to Dogpile.com and enter your search, the final search result will be displayed from Yahoo, Bing, Google and Ask! This will broaden your search results by far! Hope this helps.

Anyone know a good site to buy Rear Wheel Bearings for an 85' YTM225DX? I found a set on ebay but wanted to look around a little more.

Anyone know a good site to buy Rear Wheel Bearings for an 85' YTM225DX? I found a set on ebay but wanted to look around a little more.

Powersportspro.com has them. $46 for the left side, $39 for the right side.

Thx for the info Mopar Man, I see that there are two different bearings there. There is a kit on ebay that says it is "Per Axle", I would think that includes both bearings, but its only $38 total and doesnt specify the specific parts in the kit. Does that sound right, seems like quite a price difference.

Here is the link for it: http://http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390114082687&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT

Anyone ever had any issues with the aftermarket wheel bearing sets for sale on ebay?

Thanks,

As I understand that auction, it should be both bearings: QTY PER VEHICLE: 1. It can't hurt to e-mail and make sure though. As for the quality, I can't really comment as I've never used them. You might also try calling or e-mailing Parts Unlimited too. Their website doesn't seem to always have everything listed that they stock: http://www.parts-unlimited.com//contact/

Thx again!

I emailed the seller to see if both are included. I will post the results on here to let everyone know. $39 is a pretty good price if it is for both bearings.

Right On Mike!!! I found "Bikebandit.com" to be helpful also, they have quite a bit of things to choose from, plus they have free scamatics!

The Dillon Brothers website I linked to has the same part listings but I've found their pricing to be a lot better than Bike Bandit.
