Well the tecate was leaking coolant again. Blew off a rad hose and almost overheated it. My dad told me to use this stuff. Should have tried it befor. It fixes small to large leaks. Just went out on a run on the lake and looks like it sealed my leak. Id go though a liter of coolant in about 5 minutes.

Got A Leak Use Bars Leak.

Sealed up a uss nuclear sub. Why not a trike

Do NOT use that crap. Fix the problem properly. Someone put that trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro in my car and plugged the radiator. The heater core is also plugged.

I'd be afraid it would block a water passage and seize the motor. Fix it properly.

it is a good temp fix but will not last. use the alum fix stuff it wont plug your radiator but is still temp fix. and if you blew off your radiator hose i dont see how that is going to fix your prob... compression in your radiator is bad...

Well for all you doubters. All you have to do is crush them up to allow then to go through. Also it is designed to flow through rads. I have been using it for about a week and it has not pluged nothing off. Still circulates and everything. It is doing what it is designed to do. Sounds like some people have not tried it befor. Just like jig a loo. You know the product. Try it I dare you. Im not taking it out unless the motor goes bang. If I have any problems Ill let you know.

Don't use that #%&@. It's a temp fix. Buddy of mine used it in his car. Long story short..head was leaking and sucked it into the engine, clogged the Catalytic Convter, it turned bright red and almost caught his car on fire.
Fix it right!!!Good luck Beets

Need I say more. Americans not surporting an american product and pride. Guess this sub blew up and never made it under the artic ocean. I removed my rad last night to fix a broken mount and the rad looked like new. So all you doubters Ill bet you never tried it.

You can keep going on about that but it's still a temporary fix. I'm willing to bet there's additional information on that sub story about how they get the sub home and FIXED IT PROPERLY. The stuff is meant to be kept in your glove box or tool box to be used if you break down on the side of the road, plain and simple.

A quick fix isn't allways the right one and usally costs you in the end. I'd hate to be in the backcountry and break because of that. I'd be POed. That stuff isn't Slime you put in the tires it can mess your motor up and if I was doing your rebuild I'd add a few more $$ to your bill just to clean that gunk out of block. Billy Mays just called he wants you to try the amazing everything fix... worked on the space shuttle.

Um if you had bo water and no antifreeze how would this help? You think the american goverment would allow a "QUICK FIX" for a nuclear sub going under the arctic? I have heard of people swearing by it like the first post and disbelievers. Who would have thought aluminum polish would clean up plastic fenders? Has anyone else used this product? For example. I have had my first head planed due to high spots. Blew a head gasket. Got new nuts blew a gasket.Sent my other cylinder away and blew a head gasket. Ive tried almost evey make of gasket and cometic seems to be just like oem and lasted the longest.I had 210 psi and guess what blew a gasket. Put 2 head gaskets in and dropped my psi by 20 and used my other head and still. I am tired of "fixing it right" and it breaking. I always let my bike warm up and always touqued my head nuts down.Im broke as a ford and cant and probably wont put a new kit in it. Ill fix my 83 kx motor first.

It is a quick fix, nothing more.....

I'm all for American products. And all for Americans fixing things correctly. That stuff is tiny and finds it's way into all the nooks and crannys in your motor.

I've used it, it worked in one case after I used it 3 times and in the other the water pump failed and the cavity was filled with the stuff......

It is a good quick fix product and I endorse that fact!!

I put it in my 71 Blazer with a 454 after it sprung a leak in the rad. When I took the radiator out a year or so later and took it to a radiator shop to fix right, they could not find a leak.

I've seen several cars that have had their heater core plugged up by it. Guess what your radiator is just about the same size as?

Tecate250, I don't want to disagree with you but the stuff is just a temporary fix. There is no such thing as a miracle in a bottle. The way to fix it is to find the problem and fix it, plain and simple.
