350x whit 400ex engine

i am making a 350x whit a 2001 400ex engine board at 440. end potting a 2005 trx450 rear end on it

Effin sweet. Ive been threatining to put a newer style 400ex (with reverse) In my 86. Take lots O pics and be sure to post up everything you do. Great start so far. Other than motor mounts, any other real mentionable metal work forecassed to the frame?

just a qucik thought....we have been talking about this with some buddies about doing this same thing...or even with and XR400 motor but what is your plans for oil storage? just bringing it up so if anyone has some ideas i was thinking that the 400ex has the oil tank up front of the motor if i am not mistaken

Good Luck. I just put a 300EX motor in my 85, planning to build up the motor. They basiclly bolt right in. Let us all know what you have to do to the frame to fit in there. Looks good so far!
