Tecate parts are hard to find, but you will have a better return on your money if you ever decide to sell it. Or you can buy the R and tell me where the tecate is....lol...

For a daily rider thew r is a more parts avaiable and easier to find but if its gonna be a grage queen the t-3 cant be beat.

Tecate all the way. I just threw a rock and hit two 250R's. Don't worry, they weren't mine.

honda R will be way easyer to find parts for, so think about what you want?... something to look at and ride now and then with fear of breaking somehting, or something you can ride and enjoy and not worry about finding parts?

being partial to t-3's i will say tecate. like others that have already given this advice, the r's are so common and parts are readily availible for them which is a plus on the r's side. t3's the parts are a bit harder to find but worth every penny when you do. plus what would you rather do, be like everyone else and blend in with the red, or stand out and kick ass on something green?

I'd get the Tecate in a heartbeat. I've owned a 250R, and it was a great ride, but the rare times I have ridden a second generation T3, I was more than impressed. Yes, parts are a little harder to find, but if you look, you'll find them. If you're not an idiot (which I assume you're not because you're here), you can ride it and keep it nice with ease. No offense to the Honda guys, but you can dig a hole in your backyard, and I guarantee you'll find a 250R, right next to a 69 Camaro, of course. The Honda is an awesome package, but I'm a Kawasaki guy, and I really like to stand out from the crowd, so I wouldn't lose any sleep in choosing the Tecate over the 250R.

both dude, both!
But they have a point, you can find the Honda any day of the week, if you can get a hold of the T3, do it! I regret not getting it when I had the chance.......

Hornetpowersports repops the radiator shrouds and headlight cover, and the front and rear fenders and left shroud are still available from Kawasaki. The gas tank is the only thing not available new.
