200x light

was wondering if its possable to fit a honda 350x light onto a 1983 honda 200x?

I don't know for sure, but I have seen them on 250R's and 250SX's so I would say yes. I do remember reading on here that the 200X stator won't power the 2 lights though. I may be wrong there too.

The 200X has a lighting coil, which must match the output to the wattage of the lamp. Probably the reason allot of 200X's have dim lights at idle. The 250SX and 350X have a voltage regulator and they easily run the 350X light.

As far as how it fits? It fits perfect on my 85 200X front end on my 250SX, I think I flipped the straps around backwards or something to that effect.

Can you borrow a friends and try it out?? I just wire them in parallel and they work great.......

thanks, no i cant borrow a friends as these bikes are extremely rare here let alone a 350x ive never seen one in person. im resoring the trike bit by bit inbetween having fun on it i have recently just bought a complete new fender front and back along with new decals and a new dg exhaust and the light is the next project i will try get one off ebay
