Before I post any pics, i will say that the owner asked 500 for it... I didnt even give him half that in the end and its still not worth it IMO. So heres some story on it.

2 owners ago; Bike was in pristine condition, was upgraded to have a 330kit, ESR Pipe and Silencer, 39mm carb, extended swimgarm, fresh kick ass engine. New tires, and a box of spares.

Last owner; Trashed it in 2 rides... Broke all OEM plastics, blew front forks, ran the engine on STRAIGHT GAS, blew the bottom end seals, trashed the headlight, rode it on straight gas again... and yet it still ran.

There was no OIL CHECK bolt, shifter seal blown, black gunk all over frame, crappy ass K&N on the bike (IF YOU VALUE YOUR ENGINE, NEVER USE A K&N ALONE!!!) Bike started in 2 kicks and actually has 180psi! No oil at all in engine, a sock in the silencer because fire was coming out (yea.. im serious about that). Shifter loose, kickstarter wont stay still, frame has a crack in a mount spot (not a breaker), front forks are beyond repair and to top it all off, the ONLY reason I bought it in the end, was for the black plastics and tires.

I'll post pics or it tore apart, it wasnt worth a photo to show the ugliness of the engine.

Bottom end will be torn apart and I'll be taking many pics to show the damage.

uhh..... wow... so last owner bought it.. rode the piss out of it, treated it like a 4 stroke, crashed it, jumped it, hit stuff, rolled flipped, and generally treated it like chris browns girlfriends?

Here's what my 85 looked like when I got it. Pretty much same story. Original owner for 18 years, then some pill head punks bought it, and this is what it looked like 7 months later.

K&N Lets more crud through than any other filter, sand and dirt can pass through.

WOW............Eric250r, melted fenders?.....HALF a tire?........WOW................Twilight, That sucks but you still got a deal on a roller minus forks. Some people shouldn't be allowed to reproduce. You get to work on your engine in the house? Awesome. Well are you gonna try to save that motor?

Dammit!

I've been running K&N's for over 20 years in everything from snow and mud to the dustiest places on earth and have never had an air filter related problem... ever. The inside of the air boot never even has any dust in it. Maintained properly, you should never have a problem with one.

Ditto. I run K&N's in everything including my lawn mower, leaf blower, which is on alky btw, and the power edger. I run nothing but K&N's...

I would have bought that all day long for 200 bucks.

Saying that, It doesnt look like no 330cc engine though. Not from those pics anyway

I agree with Mosh it doesnt look like any big bore. Here are a few pics of my stock bore ported 250R. I did all the work myself if your wondering who ported it. Took me two nights at my buddies shop so about 6hrs of port time into it. Im going to do more work to it since its down right now.

Yeah its not a 330kit, the 330kit is in a box as a blown cylinder and head that is now in recycle.
