Restoring Big Red, Looking For Decals

Hi guys,

A couple weeks ago I had a set of decals for the 1984 Honda Big Red on my ebay watch list. Apparently the seller was banned or pulled the item, because they disappeared from my watch list.

The normal Honda parts sites say NLA, but apparently someone is making them.

I'm working on bringing the old farm machine back from the dead. We ran it for 20 years on the farm before Dad finally broke down and bought a 2004 Honda Recon. It's been sitting for the past 5 years, but I got it running again with just a new carb and a couple bottles of green slime tire sealer.

The fenders are pretty badly busted up. I found a left one off an '83 Big Red, and a right one off an '84 200m. Gotta paint 'em so they're all the same color and put the right decals on...

probably better to find good used fenders off a member on here or ebay. Paint on the fenders will flake off and look even worse. good luck!

The front fender's usable, but I couldn't find a matched set of rears. I'm still waiting for the "new" rears to show up, but I expect I'll have three different colors of plastic due to fading and the different model years.

I'm gonna use the Krylon Fusion paint that sticks to plastic. Not to brag or anything but I can work miracles with a rattle can. When I'm done you'll think it was a pro job. It may not be Honda red but it'll look just fine.
