does anyone else just start em and let em run a while when you cant ride?

I have had zero time lately not to mention the crap weather so no riding for me. Though I do like to go down to the shop and start the trikes up and let them run both for them and me. Anyone else do this just because they miss hearing their babies run?

I used to do that, but as I've gotten older and my luck's gotten worse.....I'm afraid that they'll seize up sitting there idling ....lol.

Yes... I ride my BR alot, but I do fire my rocket up in the winter, just to hear it and smell it...

Ya what he said...just to hear it thumping in the garage and smell it. I just sit there in a trance stairing at the X just thumping with that supertrapp. Sounds almost as good as my drag car :)

I NEVER start them unless I'm gonna go for a blast.... Even 2 laps on the track is enough for both mine and her juices to start flowing :D

my trike is in the barn wich is a 10 mintue drive so when its started i'm riding it, the pitbike is at my house so i sometimes start it and rev the little beast

yep i do go out there and start mine from time to time...i dont like doing it at night cause alot of time i cant resist to ride it so i find my self riding it at like 9 o clock and the neighbors dont like that to much

i try to start mine at least every couple of weeks. I have so many three wheelers,dirt bikes 4 wheelers sleds,cars and even a couple of antique tractors..its hard to take them all for a drive, and i dont want them to gum up from setting

thats funny because i do that also with my R.

i start the X up just to make my neighbor angry.

i don't think it is really nessecary though as along as its not few months or more that they sit around.

I like to but my good friend who races motorcycles says it's not so good for the motor, can cause water to get in or something....I wasn't really paying attention cause I like to start 'em just to hear 'em haha

As the glaciers take over Canada for the year I just stabil the gas tank, and take out the battery....no movement for the winter....its sleep time for the bikes

i'll buy your first batch...

but i start my bikes from time to time or on occasion ill take the hit and plan a weekend riding trip. sadly there arent too many places around here so that trip requires a bit of a drive
