I was just wondering if there is a way to determine what my ATC is, based on what it says for the serial number on the engine?
I am pretty sure that my atc is a ytm200; it is a 200cc yamaha (chain drive)
For some reason I cannot see the serial number on the frame... dunno what the deal is (I looked for it where my service manual said to, but the service manual is for the ytm200e, which is the shaft drive version, and I just have the ytm200 chain drive)
So does the serial number on the motor tell me what the ATC actually is? And if so, does anyone know what the numbers mean?
Here is the serial number on the engine: 21V-023112
Also, I have 2 engines, both of which I think are ytm200 (chain drive version) motors. Both of them start out with the 21V, but some of the numbers are different after that, towards the end.
Does the 21V part of the serial number on the engine signify what the motor goes in? (IE: the ytm200 chain drive, or the ytm200E shaft drive etc)??
Thanks for any info!!
