Looking at my carb today, and saw where the tubes coming from it meet at a "T". I am wondering if there is a tube missing or should it be capped off...I don't know. The spot I'm looking at is just left of the knob.

it should be fine just the way it is you are just missing an overflow tube that comes off of that

That "T" and the light color tubes are the crankcase vent line. You can see where it attaches to the crankcase to the left, The "T" should have a hose running down near the front of the swinger and another hose that runs up and loops over the airbox mount as a dry vent.
Your carb vent lines are the darker hoses pictured, and they all should run to the space between the swinger and the motor, there will be three of them I think.

Run (ONE ) line from the Vent down in front of the swinger ... STAY OUT OF DEEP WATER !!

Now, does anyone have a good picture of the correct set-up?

Thanks in advance!!!

I'm not much on mud and water...I like the dry stuff.

When I had my 84', I replaced that hose and made it longer... It looks pretty clean, doesn't look like its seen much dirt. "JK"...Just rebuilt? Go like hell ....Beets.
