Does your flywheel have where you can thread 3 little bolts in and use a harmonic balancer puller, or is the center hole threaded?

Should be the harmonic balancer style. Mine were. I cant remember the thread size i think it was a 6mmx1.25 for the 3 bolts you will need to double up on washers probably or the bolts will pull through the puller. Also make sure NOT to thread them in very far or you will take out your lighting coil and/or the ignition coil. I did that once!

i think you meant stator coil. anyway,- i recommend you use that motion pro tool (preferrably)or similar type. remember it has (fine)reverse thread. thread on by hand to the left on the outer part that threads into flywheel. ive used the steering wheel/harmonic balance puller type but dont recommend it. -also,i still prefer an old used original stator versus the aftermarket ones they sell now. is there any good ones made now anybody?

No i meant ignition coil...... Its called the "primary ignition coil" Its located ON the stator along with the "lighting coil".

i also say use the right tool for the job ,a flywheel puller is really cheap and may save you money in the long run.
