I pulled a plug bolt on the back of my 200x motor and is seemed to have been spring loaded? now it wont go back in? it looks like the bolt holds something down? can i just grind it down or is it a necessity? any tips or trick to get it back it?

did it have a black boot over it?

go to www.bikebandit.com and look for the image and post a link and item # so we can see what you did. it not be a big deal. I'm thinking it's the cam chain tensioneer and you jsut need to push the center black cyclinder price back in and put the bolt back in.

no way to send pics:cry: there was no black boot on it, its just a 14 mil that is about 1" long and isnt thresded on the first half of the shaft, as if to hold something down, it is located on the very back of the 200x case

That may be the bolt for the automatic adjustment on your cam chain. But I just woke up and trying to picture in my head.

It do sounds like the adjustment for the cam chain adjuster.

the cam chain adjuster is on the top of the block, this is something different point sideways towards the bottom of the shock

Sound like you pulled the kick starter spring catch bolt out , if so your gonna have to split the cases to get it back in . Does the kicker still work?

move the kick starter up or down and try to put it in at the same time, it will go

You might get it back in but the spring tention is not going to be right . The only way to fix it is by splitting tne cases and resetting the spring tention . EDIT . You might be able to pull the clutch cover off and try to tighten the inner kicker shaft to reset it . I havnt tryed this but it might work .

I have wondered what this bolt is on the back of the 200x bottom end but never messed with it. I took this pic a while back to ask what is what, but never did. Is this the bolt you're talking about?
