I am thinking of converting my 85 200x into a fat cat. i was wondering what major problems will i need to overcome? what size tire should i use? i was thinking just a 200x rear wheel would work. any help is appreciated. thanks

If you go into the mad scientist lair there is a 250sx fat cat build going on, you could ask him some questions or look into a missle kit for the 200x.

anybody have some pictures of the shock set up on a fat cat conversion? pics of the jack shaft set up would be great too. thanks

this is the best I've got and it's not a missle conversion. Down load it and zoom in. It appears to use a stock shock and stock mounting on the 200x frame and the fat cat swinger.

Personnally I would use a 200x front wheel.Maybe with it you will save the jackshaft.I'm building a 250sx missile and I use a 250sx front wheel, the the drive shaft setup is wider than the chain setup.

would it be better to use a 200x front wheel? i already have the rear wheels i thought id use one of them and run a 22" tire. has anyone used a front wheel and know for sure whether or not you need a jack shaft with that set up?
