Atc 185 hub and suspension ?

does anyone know if the 83 185s and 200s had the same hub and brake setup. I recently got a front end off a guy that said it was off a 83 atc 185 but the hub and axle he gave me arent the right one for the forks which are either off a 185s or a 200s is there a way to tell? I wanna find one what hub and axle to get for this front end. I have an 82 atc 185 and im doing the upgrade to a suspension front end.

Can you post some pics of what you have and how they don't fit together? It will really help in determining what parts you need.

well the brake side of the hub doesnt line up where the pin on the hub slides into fork leg. that peg doesnt line up right with the axle if you were to put it together

The hub this guy gave me also has the larger hub on it for bigger rims and the axle is to long for my forks
