Im looking to get some better tires for my Big Red. I already know whats going on the back, but im a little confused on what my options are for the front. It came with 9 inch rims, and finding a good tire for a 9 inch rim hasnt been easy. Anyone know if i can go to a 10 inch rim on the front.
A taller rim means it gets more narrow so I was wondering what the alignment would be like.

there are a few types of tires you can get for the 9 inch front rim that are pretty good IMO. I like the ITP mudlite, or knobbies for the front. but you can get a 10 inch rim as long as its 4/110 bolt pattern.

Carlile makes a good 9'' tire ,25x12x9'' turf buster. It has good grip on the trails. .......Ol Deuce

So does anyone know if i can change rim size on the front? Like i said, im wanting to go thinner to avoid mud build up between the tire and the rim.

Yes, you can put a 10 inch wheel on the front. You will need to get the correct offset to keep it centered between the forks. I have alloy wheels on mine and had to make a custom spacer to keep my front wheel centered (perfect offset didnt exist)

Thanks for the info. I kind of figured there would be an offset to deal with, but wasnt for sure.
