250r Fork Question

I need to stiffen up my forks, I'm tired of bottoming them out. I tried looking for the post where they put the PVC in the fork tubes, and cannot find it.
I might try that, but are there any other ideas?? I'm running 40 wt fork oil, and it's better than when there was 0 weight fork oil. Still not what i'm looking for and not sure where to go from here.

IDK where you found 40wt Fork oil. You must be using automotive 40Wt?? I'm 210lbs and run the spacers and 20wt fork oil.

I think the max I could use was about 1.25" long and I found the PVC at Home Depot. In the case of a 200X, I had to turn the OD of the PVC down .020 or so or it would bind in the fork.

Too long of a spacer makes guys strip the fork cap threads - not good.

Have you tried buying progressive springs at all??

What size PVC?

Probably 3/4" PVC. The R might be 1" and look at the grey underground PVC pipe for electricians too!

Bring either the spring or the upper tube and head on down to Homie D.....

What's the word on the progressive springs? I'll be installing new seals/bushings this winter and could probably use stiffer springs too (220lbs).
