I need to replace the rear sprocket on my '83 ATC200. I took off the left chainguard cover and gave it a lok over. Taking the chain off looks no prob. The rear sprocket looks like you take 4 bolts off and it should 'slide' right out. Kinda like it's bolted to a hub on the axle rose. Am I correct? The front sprocket looks like it's held on with a couple keeper nuts. Will this 'slide' right off or is it pressed on too? Thanks.....Matt

i know on a 82 200 you there arent welded nuts on the backside of the dampening assembly, so you have to take out the axle to get the sproket off. its pretty easy. just take off the chain and wheeles, then dissassemble the brake assembly and slide the axle right out. sometimes the drum is a pain to get off because of rust, but theres a trick to it. once you get all the covers and what not off, you might have to put some wd40 or something in the brake drum splines. before you do this, get a needle, or an extremley skinny pair of needle nose pliers and take the O-ring out from between the drum and axle. then after a little wiggling and spraying, it should come right off.
