Just wondering if anybody could tell me if a yamaha banshee rear spindle will fit my 83 200x axle? Got a 250r (gold) front wheel today and already have a set of gold banshee rears with nice low pro tires . I think the gold wheels would look pretty trick.
I repainted the tank white and rear fenders i kept red but freshened them up a little . I also ordered a white 250r front fender for it along with a new factory honda seat cover in (85) blue . I cant wait to get it all together .

I dont think they are the same spline but im not sure. If you got the 3rd gen 250R front rim it wont fit the 200X hub, it needs to be the 2nd gen rim..

they can fit if your splines are worn.

I got the hub and axle with the front rim , but i havnt test fitted it yet . Im more concerned with the rears , because if i cant get them to fit i will stick to silver rims .

Other way around. Yamaha hubs fit loose on Honda axles. Honda hubs fit very tight on Yamaha axles, and worn axle works better. Got all Honda hubs on my Yamaha's, and Yamaha hubs on the 125M.

yeah i just realized they are gonna fit because my ytm200 spindles fit so Im pretty stoked, cant wait to get the banshee spindles in the mail . I will post pics when they are on .
On the other hand Stupid me tried to force feed one of the honda spindles on my ytm axle i cant get it past a certain spot and now i cant get the darn thing off . any bright ideas on getting it back off??? or should i just keep beating onto the axle???

Some place makes wheel spacers that will adapt from say 4/100 to 4/156 (is banshee i think) bolt patterns. You could just go with +1 each side if you didnt want to widen it much. That might be a better route than the hubs. This is like what im talking about . http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/300-POLARIS-4-156-to-4-110-WHEEL-ADAPTER-SPACER-WSP15_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem5d270f21edQQitemZ 400087261677QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessorie s They can be had or made for much cheaper.

No, not rare at all. Whats the bolt patter on the one you're wanting to put the rims on? 4/110? There is a set of those for 115$. Probably a litlte more than new hubs, BUT you got to remember if you ARE wanting to widen it also, you're gaining 3 inches with these. Or you can take the chance and see if your splines are working and try to fit the wrong size hubs on your trike. Its up to you, but my choice would definatley to use something that is made to do just what you want to do.

Ah there is a 4x115 to 4x110. There are alot of manufacturers that make those wheel adapters. Just search around, im sure you will find what you need if you decide to do it this way. Hell you could make a jig and make your own adaters for way less than half the price of new ones.
