JUst picked up a 1982 ATC 70. Got a weak spark , so first checked all wiring. Looking at the wiring diagrams the 1982 shows a headlight. I don't have a headlight nor the wiring for it. But i do have a plug with male ends sticking out. But i don't have the other end, theres just a rubber cover over it. No splicing any where, so it appears factory. I guess this is the engine stop switch that appears in the 1978-1982 diagram. But one wires coming out of the back of this plug is not plugged up. There is a green wire a light green with red stripe and a black. Green and green/red go into alternator side. Black is not plugged up, has a bullet connector on the end wire comes out about an inch and a half then terminates into a bullet connector. I don't think this is my spark problem but whats the deal?
