What other motors fit in a 125m? I was thinking a 110 with cdi. I was looking at both wiring diagrams the only major differences that I can see are the 85 125m has 2 yellow wires coming out of the alternator, and the 84 110 only has one.

Has anyone done this swap? Could the 2 yellow on the 125m harness be combined to work with the 110?

not sure on the wiring stuff. might try an older 110 motor that has two wires, or just try to find a decent 125m motor.

the 110 does have 2 wires coming out it, but the 125m has 3, 2 yellow and another.

I would like to get another 125m but I cant find one decently priced.

Cool, do you know about when you will get it back? The motor that I have, before it threw the chain, had 44psi compresson, started first pull and smoked like a train, so If yours doesnt smoke like a train, ill probley want it.

when you get it, do a top end rebuild! it'll wake it up a ton!!!
may consider a weisco performance piston too while your at it.

but then again by the time you spent the $ you coudl havbe gotten a new liflin 140cc drop in with reverse and manual clutch and electric start!!!
