Both of my trikes run way rich no matter what. I rebuilt both carbs this week. When I try to read my plugs, they are totally full of crap even after 2 min. of running. BLACK!--Do I need to move my needles down? Anyone?--I've tried fuel and air adjustments and I think it's beyond that--needle?

To respond to that other thread: If I had a sandblaster, I've got about 30 plugs that have been run for a few minutes each and fouled. I'd use it.

i recommend getting a spark plug cleaner it rulz and also check this out http://www.yellowdogracing.com/techstuff.htm it will explain what part of the carb needs work. it all depends really on what part of the throttle you are on. just read this. it helped me. hope this helps

Yeah, I've read that before but this time I got it. I took them both apart again and found the 110's needle was all the way up--no wonder--It runs perfect now--would probably idle through a tank of gas if I let it. The red--I'm gonna move the needle all the way down and see if I can work with that or if I need to go back to the stock main jet (95)--Thanks bakeban
