Anyone know the trick to getting the color back in old faded fenders?

wet sanding and a whole bunch of time!! I just did my zinger last week. There is a link on here if you search.

heat gun. And if you are energinic you can also sand them. Heat gun will remove white marks in plastic. Plastic is like wax. heat it up and it comes out like new.

To take out deep scratches or sun damage you can use the edge of a sharp wood chisel held at 90 degrees to the surface, it acts like a fine wood plane and takes the surface down quick but doesn't leave loads of smaller scratches like rough sand paper, then you can fine finish with fine wet sand paper.
