How do I get the the packing in my dg Exhaust. 84 200. I took that little screw off the side and Im lik,e what next?

is it a 200x, or string puller?

Either way, I am not sure if you can re-pack them, but just as curious,

on my '85 200X DG, you remove the screw and pull the whole center core out and stuff your packing around the screen.

It will some but those exhausts are just built to be loud. Like I said before, get the disc type spark arrestor if DG still makes it, that'll quiet it down.
