Ebay Question

Ok, I have noticed alot of people post ebay links on a thread, and, i stop and look at all the ones i can to see if are any good deals, but, i tried searchin ebay, all i EVER come up with is cables or brick a brack, lol, can someone please tell me how you find these great machines, or parts machines, I really want to get another 3 wheeler.

It's all in what you search for, and how you do it. I use 100's of different ones. Searching in titles and escriptions will bring the most results. Then you need to scan through the titles until you find something you might be interested in.

Here is a few searches I have used to find stuff:
Honda 350x
Honda 200x
Honda atc atv
Yamaha 3wheeler
Yamaha 3 wheeler
Honda 3 wheeler
Honda 3wheeler
Rare 3wheeler
Rare 3 wheeler
Rare atc atv
Rare atc
Rare ATV

Notice in some of then the only difference is a space. That does make a difference. If your looking for a particular model try searching for one 3+ different ways. Lets use a 85 200x as a example. Search for one something like this:
Searching Titles only first:
85 Honda 200x
85 Honda 200cc
85 Honda ATC
85 Honda ATV

1985 Honda 200x
1985 Honda 200cc
1985 Honda ATC
1985 Honda ATV


Then using the same terms Search "Titles and descriptions". You may get a ton of links. If so then add a little to your Terms. Like this
85 Honda ATC 200x
85 Honda 200x 3 wheeler
85 Honda 200x 3wheeler
1985 Honda ATC 200x
1985 Honda 200x 3 wheeler
1985 Honda 200x 3wheeler

Each way you search you will get different results. A lot of trial and error will reward you in finding those listings that don't jump out at you. lol

Do you search on the ebay.ca site? If so do you serach worldwide or just canada? If you search canada I would search worldwide it gives you all the results of anyone that WILL ship to canada.

Nw if you are searching on the ebay.com site you better look to see where they will ship before you think about buying something.

My favorite thing to type in the search box is honda atc, then when all the items show up i click on sort by items highest priced that way all the honda atcs for sale show up at the top.

Sad thing happened today, talked to the parents about gettin another 3 wheeler i am only 15) and they said (well, mom said) they are TOO dangerous for a crazy guy (me) to drive, way to tipy, but, they let me drive a dirt biek, a 2 wheeled machine, that went faster then my 200 honda (1987 kawi KE 100, did 50 mile an hour today ) ) so, if anyone knows any tricks or secrets on convincing parents about stuff, PLEASE HELP i am despretly seeking a Yamaha Tri Z or a 250 SX or 250R

This may sound stupid and time consuming but all i do when I go to e bay is clik on atvs then honda then i hook up a gallery view and any thing I see with three wheels i clik on but then again I ahve been looking for parts and find whole bikes for sale not listed in the atv category but in the parts category Ive bought 2 yamaha TT 500s from e bay 9 ya ya i know they are dirt bikes but i will most likely buy a 350x or 250r from e bay as well

:-D lol dont know about convinceing parents im 35 but tell them you will put an extended axle on the trike or wheel spacers for a 250sx i have a 84 200x with an extended axle (cant find them for 200x any more) but they are readily available for the 250rs and the 350xs any way my little 200x is really stable you can still tip it but it is more stable than the stock axle but you do have to take more care on tight trails and the steering radius is a bit more than stock but i just roll the throttle ( twist on the lil x)and spin the rear around

I use the 'or' function on my Ebay search to hit as much as I can about 350x's.

(atc350x, 350x, atc350, hondaline ATC) <--- best search I use. With titles and descriptions, I normally get 300+ hits with just a couple that are about telescopes or the people that list yadda yadda yadda NOT 350X...
