Well, I'm so close to being finished with this bike that I decided to go ahead and post a few pics of it. I bought it as an 85.5 and wanted to keep that color scheme. It has a spare motor in it at the moment. I'm rebuilding the original and will paint it when done then throw it into the bike. I'd like to refinish the calipers too, but just haven't had the time yet.

The chain needs one little link....my master link broke when installing it so I just thought I'd get a rivet link like I use on my road bikes. Ordered one up for a 520 and went to put it on. Wouldn't even come close to fitting! So, I've got to get another master link. Once thats on I'll tighten up the chain.

I didn't post up any build pics since the work was so sporadic.

Thanks again to all the people that helped answer my questions..:beer

I had a spare set of rims for the bike so went at them with easy off. After that I sanded them down, primed, painted, and cleared them. I know its gonna scratch and nick but I really wanted to see it that way at least once. I'm hoping to get my shop set up for some powder coating so I might try that later. Paint touching up on the rim shouldn't be too tough anyway.

I just got that spare motor to fire :D I couldn't ride too fast though as I don't have brake pads installed yet! I bought 'em off of ebay and they don't wanna go in. I'll have a look at it eventually...I'm just glad the motor fired up. Now I can focus on getting one rebuilt and coated.
