Honda Engine swap compatability question

Hi. I am new to the forum. Can anyone tell me if I can take an engine from a 82 honda 185s and bolt it into a honda 81 atc200? Will things line up properly? Or is that a no go?

That is great news. Thanks for your reply. I Have a 81 atc200 in great shape but needs an engine overhaul and a buddy of a buddy wants to sell an 82 200s that just had an engine rebuild completed. I was hoping to put his engine in mine but didn't know if the engine mounting bolts, exhaust routing, carb hookup, air breather, and chain/sprocket nuances would cause difficulty.

So if all matches up I guess I am a go! Thanks again.
