Yeah its in nice shape. Have the original tool kit and all. Didnt even touch the carb cleaned the plug and put some ether in the plughole and it runs for 1 second then dies. Ill clean the carb tomorrow and see what happens

A bike in that shape is worth alot more than $100, Great score! Where i live, a good price for that bike would be 10X that.

Went and cleaned the carb today and it fired. Smokes a bit then it fades away then none. reverse works nice. There is a little "click" to it not sure what that would be...

Ill get better pics tomorrow after school. Only downside of it is the front tire has a leak, so whenever I ride iit I have to pump it up every 10 minutes lol. I wanna check out that ticking could it be the valves

valve seals are gone and valves are out of spec. Same thing was wrong on mine.

How hard are valve seals to do?

Also When I got it the battery was dead so i put an extra in it and didnt do anything so i tryed another and still nothing at all not even a starter "click" Maybe they are both dead IDK but I have to get my charger tomorw from my uncle

gently tab the starter with a rubber mallet. could just be froze up from sitting..also check all the wire and grounds before buying a new battery.good luck with it now you can keep the 70!

How hard are valve seals to do?

if i were you i would dissasemble the top end, put in new valve stem seals, lap the valves, and also put in a fresh set of rings:w00t: its not a huge job just read the shop manual because it is your bible to making sure it runs right after

Hey, my 225DX is super clicky clacky (that's a technical description, leave it alone) somewhere around the top end too. I tried messing with the cam chain adjuster, but it didn't seem to do any good. Let me know what ends up fixing it.
