Time for another show me post. I've never really saw a successful one for the TRI-Z.
Anyhow, let's see em. Projects, riders, show machines, etc.
Do you have a Z itch again D?
You have seen all mine but here they are again.
This one is still rippin the trails and tracks. But I sold it.
http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m40/cosmicquads/newzpic.jpg
My old 85.5 I never really talked much about.
I pulled the motor,and sold the roller.Last I heard it was a YZ 490 Z..
http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m40/cosmicquads/newz003.jpg
This is the only one I have left in 1 piece..
http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m40/cosmicquads/330Z2009-1.jpg
I am wishing I would have kept 1 of the trail riders..
I may build another rider shortly.

So this is my tri-z 1100. It doesnt look as pretty as the pic anymore just looks a little dull now and I need to do a valve job to it. i'm not getting compression someone decided to kick it into nutreal up sand mountain and redline it(cough...eyecekold1). I love the bike. I was planning a restore on it this winter. it was built by Harry Carry racing here in Utah county, UT (no longer around). it has a +12 swinger and a 84 kawasaki GPZ1100 motor in it with the vance and hines pipe sounds like a beast!

85.5tri-z with lots of chrome and a dg pipe

A few shots of my 2 86Z's. The one with paddles is basicly stock other than exhaust, reeds, and first overbore. A great running bike that is low hour. Owned it since 00, and been to TF 05,06,07. The other has been a work in progress for many years. Mainly due to other 3wheeled interruptions. I fully intend to have it ready to go by spring and ready for TF in June. It's gonna be a slick bike, with a full P/V top and 6 speed trans. Still have lots of $ to dump into it though.........Jemco will be on order next week, Yz crank is going out to crankworks in Az, and of course a PWK will be on order soon enough. I have many other things "in the works" to make this one of a kind when completed.:naughty:

One of these days I'll get mine back out. Heres a couple from about 3-4 years ago.
Mods:
CGR Sprocket guard
CGR Stator cover
CGR Footpegs (Not pictured)
Ronnie Thermostat T
KTM85SX Forks with custom triples I made (first on the forum back in like 03 or 04 to have inverts if I recall right)
Works stadium series Warrior rear shock
LRD pipe and silencer
+4 Durablue YFZ450 axle/sprocket hub (customized by my dad and I)
Was a total pile of junk when I got it and I was young and just never took the time to really tear everything down and change bearings/seals/bushings. The motor in it is pretty much junk and never really ran right. Sucker jumped and handled SWEEEEEEEEEEET with the suspension mods it had though.

I was going to say it looked like my mystery pipe, but apon closer inspection, it is not. Im thinkin you have a Klemm pipe there.
Check some of these threads and compare:
http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/search.php?searchid=939390
Could even be an old Jemco. I dont have mine infront of me to check. Are there any markings on it? On the mounting tab? Halfway through the expansion chamber on the back?
Just do some searching around.
Racerguy381

Oh I've been checkn, and there isnt any markings at all. Just the one mounting tab an it also has on washer looking hook where the silencer mates up.

Thanks for the compliments. I actually built it to match the 700 Raptor/banshee colors, so it looks like yamaha just brought it out. By all means, copy away. Some people get mad because they want a one-off bike, but I say build your bike up how you want it and enjoy. Tri-z's are so far and few between anyway, you'll probably never come across another one just like it anywhere you ride. Keep me posted with pics! Or if you need any info, pm me.
