hello, just got an 85 250 es that i'm fixing up. the trike barely ran before so i rebuilt the carb. starts on the 2nd or 3rd kick everytime now. here's the weird part, it will idle good for a little bit then just start to speed up and then slow down, no real pattern to this. i tried adjusting the pilot screw per the manual. backed out 2 turns from being seated, per the manual i start turning the pilot screw in and the idle speeds up as i turn the screw in. once the screw is seated the motor is screaming. per the manual it's supposed to quit at some point. it is my understanding the screw reduces fuel as it is screwed in, so what the heck is going on? does this mean i'm getting more fuel from somewhere else? the motor will die if i back the screw way out. if i punch the throttle the bike wants to die, runs great if i roll on the throttle slowly. any and all input is much appreciated, thanks.
