Picked up a 1985 200x this evening for $350..
I think it was a good deal..

All original , no rust in tank at all, no crack in plastic.. On little tear in the seat cover from the guy getting it out of the shed. That was a bummer since I saw it happen and couldn't do anything to stop it.

It needs a few things though:
I know it needs the rear brake setup put back on.. Looks like it got hung up on something and cut the brake like.. Everything is already taken off though so I have to replace it all. Caliper, rotor and brake hose

Also the headlight housing cracked. A little valve noise from the exhaust valve but that should be gone with an adjustment.. Either way I think it was a decent price and I am happy with it.

Thats a nice looking machine for 350 bucks. You can't go wrong at that price. Also my 200x would rattle the valves so bad it sounded like it was falling apart when it had older gas or 87 in it, but then if you ran 93 it would act and sound like a whole new machine...

I think you did really good and you'll be happier in the long run than with a utility trike.

Looks like a great buy for $350. I paid $300 for mine and it needed new plastics, an engine rebuild and a tank coating lol
