Happy Halloween!
To start off the day , we are asking the parents to bring a bag of candy, and dress your kids up in a costume, as we are going to have trick or treat in the pits (from trailer to trailer) .THATS NOT ALL ,THE BEST COSTUME GETS A FREE SECOND CLASS!
For the rider appreciate day if anyone would like to race a second or third class it will only be $10.
Gates open up at 10:30
Sign up at 12:00
Practice starts at 1:30
Race will start at 3:00
WE WILL ALSO HAVE A RELAY RACE TOO!
One big bike or quad, one 85 , one Sr or Jr Pee Wee. (Quads or bikes!)The teams must have one of each.

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!

Only a 10% chance of rain in the afternoon. This is awesome! Looks like it will be cleared up for the race. Most likely - just like last time - we will get there and the track will be a muddy mess - but the staff at malvern do an excellent job of getting the track in good shape for race time.

Expect a great race guys!

Through all sorts of adversity and prejudice the OTC gang just goes about their business and enjoys each other and the sport.
And even though you guys must be combating a constant bias toward your choices, you maintain a joyful, positive attitude towards everybody.

Track conditions turned out ot be near perfect, a very impressive turnout, and plenty of great action to satisfy the fans. Thanks to all who came out to make the season ender a memorable one! Congrats to Carl on his 1st place finish, Blacksheep on his 2nd and TimJr on his 3rd. Thanks to Josh at Malvern and Jock at Moto-X for managing to whip up trike plaques on a one day notice, and congratulations to atctim for being pictured on the ONLY Malvern plaques ever issued, and Rich's Pix for providing the photo used. OTC rocks, and every Ohio MX fan knows it!!!!

Allright. Both moto's from what I remember. Also Bob's wife got video and should be posting it up soon.

First moto... As seen in the above pic, Carl got the holeshot with Louis and Josh not far behind. Carl pretty much had it the hole race. Josh got a bad position in the first corner and dropped back to sixth. He worked with a vengence and got back up to second. ATCTim had some difficulties and had to pull off. I believe race order was Carl, Kintore, Bill, snake. That's about all I can remember. Somebody else will ahve to fill in the first moto order.

Second moto......Bill got the holeshot with Louis, Josh and Snake hot on there heels. I know Carl was there somewhere too but not sure where. After the first corner and on the uphill Kintore and snake got tangled for a spectacular crash. Carl made it by and him and Louis fought to catch Bill. I beleive Carl did catch Bill around the second or third lap and went for the win. Finish order 2nd moto....Carl, Bill, Tim jr., and that's about all I remember. I think Louis had some technical difficulties and so did ATCTim. Snake went on to finich and pulled a few before the end. Josh ahd to pull out due to a locked up front brake. I believe Russell, Tim Sr., and Bob were around mid-pack for most of the two moto's. Not sure how scott did but I assume pretty well considering he took fifth overall. Nick (with only two races under his belt) held his own safe pace in the back but raced a respectable race.

ok ill lay it out for yall!

1st moto-

Had a big ole holeshot from carl I beleive of louis, and I somehow managed to end up crappy outa the corner. So I put the heat down, went from like 7th or 6th place to a charging 2nd. I rode like a squirrel lookin for my nuts, I still dont know what got into me but man was I MOVING! made my way to 2nd and was done, carl was far ahead and I was beat from the charge.

Moto 2- Came out of the holeshot in 4th, Bill took a awesome HS here. After a few corners there is a step up jump, (wore the helmet cam for this)
ATCtim was right ahead of me and I came raping up the side of the jump and would have hit him, so I locked the binders and moved over. Turned out me and snake got tangled up and both rolled it like syn swimmers. So we rolled them over and wanted to do aanother comeback tour. BUT the crash had bent my bars and my front brake assembly underneath my throttle assembly. So my front brake stayed locked up the entire lap. So I took my loses and not being able to break it free I DNF'ed. Snake took on a good charge and made his way back up to 4-5th I beleive.

ATCTIM had more more and worse luck!

And the milkman is a now the iron man, 21 laps he rode. I can barly move after 5!

I gotta let everyone know this - Lou is the man - anyone who has ever raced trike MX knows how hard it is on your body - it is physically demanding to the point of conditioned athletes being super sore the next day. Good old Lou ran 3 classes - 21 laps total - I was calling him "The Ironman" at the track!

Well lets just say the title of "ironman" was earned with quantity, not quality. Not my best riding and I was a fool, lost my seat several times and was too stupid to do anything about it for the rest of the day so I CONTINUED to loose my seat and I had to either stop/slow down to keep it from falling off. My own stuborn stupidity.

Some notes:

EVERYONE ran an incredible race!

Still fairly newcomer Scott was absolutely kicking down doors and taking names on a 1st GEN 200x!

ATCTim was faster than I've ever seen him on his 450r conversion despite his technical difficulties. Stomp out a few bugs and this dude will be leading the pack.

The Canadian Sensation Kintore, what can I say, continues to be on the "ones to beat list"

2TIMSRACING! JR is stepping up big time! What a switch to say several times it was SR hot on JR's heels! haha!

Snake is so freakin slithery!

Russ and Nick made an excellent showing and had a blast despite not being regular racers!

CARL is freak ripping on that 1st GEN tecate. What the heck do they put in those things! I was TRYING to catch him at the holeshot on a 500! what the heck?!?

Bill on his TPC as usual put on a great battle! It's always fun to work the track back and forth with Bill. He's very passionate!

Bob's got a freakin sweet R. Some trick stuff on that bike!

Derrick Adams as usual was ruling the Quad classes! I ran 2 quad classes with him just to get seat time and I can tell you its just amazing watching him work the track. WE ALL WANT TO SEE HIM BACK ON A TRIKE!

I know I'm missing some people here but I just can't say enough about how awesome this group is. AND everyone is getting so freak'n fast!

Keister I ran Trike, Senior Quad, and Extra Quad mainly to get the seat time. I drove out there to ride and ride I did!

Lou ran the first race (30+ quad I beleive), 6th race (trikes) and 8th race (extra quad). Iwas was cold out but I don't think I seen him not sweating the whole day. What a trooper. Iron man Louis.

In 2nd moto, Carl and Bill were out of sight for us. I saw so much carnage I thought Jr was in the lead because I didnt know who was left up front. Bill was ahead of Carl in that moto, but Carl managed to make a pass somewhere. Jr, Scott, then me finished in a tight cluster for 3rd,4th, and 5th. I spent both motos in perfect helmet cam position for Jr. Scott can really ride! That bike cant be stock. If he gets a real race ride, and a little polish on the technique, and he'll easily be a front contender.

Frist moto was a gate stall for me. I battled hard to catch up but I never got close. I did end up in a last lap battle with Bob who had slipped a chain lap 1. He dogged me about 1/2 a lap to come on at the finish with a power pass on the last turn before the finish down hill to table top checker. The 2nd moto start was much better I was back of the pack 1st corner and held what would be the outside line on turn 2...I passed a line of 2strokes to the uphill double. Thats when I was in the wrong side of the tack when Kintore had his Yardsale in some of the DEEPest ruts on the track. I ran up on Josh as he was righting the trike...Sorry buddy, I was kinda stuck in the ruts...by the time I got around the tie up I may have been in in 7th...All I knew was to put the hammer down...I tried my hardest to gap those guys. The last lap was the 101 on how to block pass a faster rider. I held em off till the end when HorsePower rules the straights. Louis with what sounded like a soft stable of the 5Hundy...burp right by. Then Russell came by with Snake HOT on his heals....I can't tell you what a happy 40th I had, Thanks to all who made the race can't wait till next season. 10/10-11th overall

PS I just want to give props to JR...250R working out just fine great finish to a learning season. NICE 3rd place overall.

The cam is fine. Didn't get any footage of the 1st moto, for some reason it shut itself off before the gate dropped. There is some of the 2nd moto, until Josh and Snake wrecked and it fell off his helmet and got covered with dirt. So there wasent hardly any footage, but the cam is fine, it had a hard weekend!! lol
