Folks, I gotta give a big thank you to Big Ed up in Gilbert Arizona!
I bought a 84 250R last week, turns out the 2nd gear is messed up. I sort of got fed up with it and threw a couple of ads on craigslist.
1. to sell it as is.
2. to see if anyone had a cheap bottom end or motor
3. to see if anyone wanted to trade a nice running 110 ATC for a running motor.
Well I get this long distance call from Ed up in phoenix, he leaves a message on my machine saying if I make the drive up, he's got a bottom end I can have for free!
Well I made the trip up this morning. Got to meet Ed, and shot the breeze for a bit. Now as I get the chance, I get to get started on the teardown. But I think we're going to at least ride the trike first, in case I mess it up too badly.
Again, I'd just like to say thanks you Ed for helping a fellow 3 wheel nut out!!!
