what to do with that old v twin
I've built a few reverse 3 wheel cars like that many years ago. They work very well on the street.
3 wheel car from scratch forumla:
1: 900-1300 CC 4cyl street bike (complete)
1: SCCA Formula V front suspension or Karman Ghia (Ghia = disk brakes)
300 lbs of 1x2 steel tubing
Remove front forks from street bike (retain the elctronics)
Weld subframe to street bike frame and place driver seat in front of where the headers used to be about 3 inches forward and 3 inches off the ground.
Connect subframe to front end suspension.
Attach pedals and steering wheel of choice.
Electrics go wherever you like, they fit easily in front of steering wheel.
Done...start pulling 1.5 g corners and turn 750cc street bike 1/4 mile times.
Lots-O-Fun for sure!!
If I remeber, i'll upload a picture of one some time. Takes about 3 weeks to build the first time you do it.
Good luck!
