Does anyone else have an aluminum DG swingarm? I have one for a 1982 250R, it isn't on the bike yet, but was wondering if anyone had a picture of a bike that has one on? Doesn't even have to be a 250r. Does anyone have an opinion on the sturdiness of these swingarms?

These swingarms are supposed to be stronger and lighter, and 2 or 4 inches longer than stock. Most guys that are lucky enough go with a White Bro's extended swingarm made for these 1st Gen 250R's (81-82 ATC 250R's) PM me, I have several pic's of a 81' 250R with the DG Swingarm. Fustrating trying to post pic's to this site, easier to email you them "to me anyway"

I know Sundahl used one on his fooler back in the day & we all know they rode hard back then.
You just doing basic trail riding or what? It should hold up just fine. Would personally love to see pics of it installed.
An extended swingarm on these short wheelbase 1st gen's are just the ticket to better handling!

I picked up the DG swingarm after I built the trike, so it isn't on yet. If I can get off my back side it will be a cool trike. I have a DG full exhaust on it right now, I have a DG gold sunburst head on it right now. I also have for it a new DG gold boost bottle setup. And this gold DG swingarm now, I didn't plan it to be all DG stuff, it just happened this way. Kinda looks like I'm sponsored by DG.

I'm not so hot on there products, but back then they made some really trick stuff.
If it's anything like the other DG swingers I've seen, it has some awesome looking welds and looks super strong!!

Were all DG swingarms anodized gold?

All of them that I have seen are gold, with a blue and white DG sticker on the back. What does the White Bros. look like? Was it aluminum like the DG or was it steel?

I have a NOS aluminium swingarm which I belive to be a DG. It is not anodized. The only decal is the warning label on the bottom.

So what is the going rate for a DG head anymore? Last time I saw them for sale was a couple years ago and they were going for $150 to $200 on Ebay. I have had two of them (one now), and I think there is really no significant improvement in performance with them. They just look cool, everyone that sees the bike notices it.:Bounce

I can't find any! By the time I find one It is gone!
It's minor, but everything helps. Colector purposes also. No one notices my stock head. I know someone on here has one to sell to a fello triker.
