here is pictures to my 200s restoration. most people dont bother with these. they only work on 200x's or 250r's. i love restoring anything i can get my hands on. this bike started as a parts bike one ebay. i got it for $49.95 and now i am $350. the only thing missing now is the rear fender (anyone know where i can get a deal on one?).

there is the link

Nice job so far! Who polished the motor? And what did they use? Also nice to see that people are keeping the oldschool trikes alive!

Not bad not bad. Or you could just sell them to him. But where does it mention that he needs forks?

to clean the engine i used a light wire brush on the drill. its a pain to get in the crack! then i used a polishing brust on it. i also used this on the right fork (right side when you are looking at it head on). if you look in the picture of the front view you can see what a diffrence it make. i still need to do the other side. the fork boots are cracked and i will proble replace them soon. thanks for the great deal on the fender!

185s and 250sx restorations are coming up!

Thats cool. Do you think that would take paint off? If not I just found a new way to get my motor so clean lol.

theres a good chance that it will but it depends on the wire wheel. when i first started cleaning my engine i used a rought one. it scratched up the metal. then i switched to a fine brush. worked much better. since yours is painted i dont think you will even need a wire wheel. i would just use some fine steel wool. but be careful cause that could still mess up the pain.

Oh ok. I just use a rag on motors and its a pain in the ass! I was seeing if this would work for an old xs 1100. its in great gondtion save the motor needs to be polished.
