how much for a tri z (86) needs piston

how much would you guys drop for a 86 tri z that is stock and all there but needs new piston and rings?guy says he stoped riding it awhile ago because of the piston and rings.he is asking 800 aint that a lil too much or am i just real cheap?:lol: im working on pics now ill post if i get any

$800 isnt bad if it only needs the piston and rings.If it needs plastic,tires,etc,then that is a little hugh.But I would grab the Z for the asking price.Is he a little neg????

a guy emailed me about my ad on craigslist. he say the trike is mint no scuffs from boots or anything.he said he is working on sending me pics...no pics with the ad. right now im working on seeing how much cash i got to make an offer lol anybody wanna buy my 200k? lol

i got an 85...dg silencer....k&n filter...new tires all around..all black plastics..but i got all the originals..all it really needs cosmetically is some new paint on the frame and a recover on the seat. i basically have a complete roller bike minus a top end for it.and then some more random parts. i was originally askin 15 for it but nobody was biting

500 obo it is a 1985 has problems starting guy thinks it is the fuel pump. it is in good condtion has some extra parts with it thumb and twist throttle tires etc.and it is only a half hour away from me! im working on the cash right now and trying to fig out when i can get it hopefully soon

the 86 is on c.l withpics this time but he has 85 parts on it here is a pic im not getting this one. on saturday hopefully im going to look at and buy the 85 that needs a fuel pump probaly or just a tune up.will keep you posted and if all looks good ill be riding again sooon:w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

1 down 4 up in the shifting pattern.I would look at the footpeg mounting area.Thats a weak spot.Just check the bike over as you would any bike.Swinger bearings.brakes etc.. Dont forget pics for us!!! :w00t:

thanks mike .ill get pics and in the pics he sent me the right footpeg aint there.can i just weld the old one back on? my dad is a welder so it would be done right.ill have alot more ?'s if i get it..:D

Once you weld it on.it is pretty much permenant!!! Get the bike first and see why the footpeg is not there.You can always drill completly threw and threw bolt it.. Cant wait to see what you got going.
