I searched around and cannot find what carbs fit my 1974 Honda Atc90. I've heard that some 110 carbs will fit, but what years? What carbs from other machines (quads, trikes, etc) will work my machine? I desperatly would like to find a carb for my 90 so I can get it running!
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!
Edit: How about a Trx90 carb?

I know someone out there knows what carbs fit my machine. I found a carb for a 1985 Honda Atc110, and it says "90" in the title, but I want to make sure it will fit my machine before I buy it. Any help would be great!

The cheapest carb they have is a little more than I want to pay, but I might get one from them if the one on Ebay daosen't fit.

I want to know if that '85 110 carb will fit '74 90 before it's gone off Ebay. I want to get my 90 running before it gets to cold around here!
Does anyone know if it will fit?

Another carb question. Will a CT90 carb fit my Atc90? If it does, I might be able to find one cheaper than an ATC90/110 carb.

I found this carb on Ebay, will it fit my '74 Atc 90? If it will fit, I want to buy it quick before the bidding ends

I know this has been covered in one form or another. The 110 carb will fit if you use a 110 intake but you will have to grind some on your head as the 110 intake transition to the 90 head is a little bigger, unless you don't care about how your trike runs. The ct90 carb will fit, but is bigger than the atc90 carb. It should work with the 110 intake manifold and once again, you need to match port the 90 head to the 110 intake or the resulting "step" will make your trike run crappy. The aftermarket large intake manifolds were based off of the ct90 intake design but with a larger inside diameter. The ct90 intake manifold will bolt up to the atc90 head, but the ct90 intake isn't turned out to the side of the engine and you will have interference problems with the tank. The outlet of the atc110 and the ct90 carb is larger than the outlet of the atc90 carb and the inlet side of the atc90 manifold. Either way you will either have to modify either the inlet side of the atc90 inlet manifold with the atc110 or ct90 carb or you will have to modify the inlet on the atc90 carb if you use the atc110 intake manifold. I hope I didn't make that too complicated or too hard to understand.

So can I use the Atc90 intake (which I already have) after some modifying with the CT90 carb?

Should I buy the CT90 carb? I realy want to get my 90 running.
I've also been looking at this carb. http://cgi.ebay.ca/1985-HONDA-ATC110-ATC-110-CARB-CARBURETOR-90_W0QQitemZ350244650982QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotorcy cles_Parts_Accessories?hash=item518c353fe6 It's pretty rough, but it's the cheapest, complete one I can find on Ebay.

The ct90 should work but you may have to rejet. Also you will probably have to modify your atc90 intake some. Buy whatever you want to buy. You will have to live with it. I don't really know anything about those aftermarket replacement carbs. Whatever you get used, you should probably tear it apart and see what it looks like internally and you should put new guts in it just to be safe. The jetting with a different carb can be a crap shoot. Best of luck with whatever you choose.

I think I'll go with the CT90 carb after I get a shipping estimate, If I can before it's gone.

ct 90 jetting will should be pretty close if not use your atc 90 jets in it.
I have just put a 110 carb on a 90 and it needs a bigger main jet to get it running better but I used a atc 110 manifold too so it was an easy bolt up.

I've been looking at the carbs again on Beatrice Cycle, they are $45 brand new + shipping, and they would be guaranteed to work with my machine. http://dratv.com/19waca.html I'm currently waiting on a shipping quote from them.
What I would like to get would be an original carb for cheap or free, but the few people I've delt with have never got back to me.

Been looking on Ebay and have seen a few Trx90 carbs fairly cheap. Will one of these fit? They look like they might.

I found out that the distance between the bolts for the Atc90 and Trx90 is the same, but I still would like to know if it would actualy work with my Atc90.

Beatrice Cycle has that same 22mm carb, but they say it will only with with a 90 bored out to 104cc, mine's all stock. But on Ebay it says thats good for some 50cc models, so one would think that it wouldn't be to big for my 90.

I couldn't tell you if the late model carbs fit or not. You probably are just going to have to bite the bullet and wing it. LOL I haven't had a stock 90 for many years so I can't tell you about a stocker. Like I said you may have to mod whatever you get. Just get the carb and have at it.
Gearheadtom

I don't want to get a carb that I have to mod a bunch, and that I may never be able to work perfectly. Like I've said before, I'd prefer a stock 90/110 carb because I know one would work. If I can't get a stock carb, I think I'll go with the Beatrice Cycle carb, they say it will work with my 90, but it's going to cost me $62.90 CDN shipped.

I can't help you as far as what the interchange is but a quality rebuild kit should include the jet. I just rebuilt two carbs, one from a '78 90 and another from an '82 110. Both kits (Moose brand) came with jets. They were under $20 shipped from eBay, maybe even under $15. The carbs from those two models and years are close but not exact. They will interchange with each other, though, and I imagine they would function the same with the exception of the jetting. Would they fit on your '74? Not sure. I can't see Honda building a carb body with the mounting studs only a few millimetres apart for different 90's. That wouldn't be cost effective for them.
EDIT: If you need, I can measure the mounting studs on the 110 carb if that would help you out any. I've still got it off the bike.

I know any ATC90 carb will fit, and I'm pretty sure that the 110 carbs would fit, just the jetting would be different, but I just can't find one reasonably priced. I've delt with a few people on here but all of them stoped replying to my pm's.(No, I wasn't rude in any way)
If I can find one, I'm not to worried about not being able to rebuild it, I've got some pretty bad lawnmower carbs working again.

That sucks that nobody will get back to you. You can also try over at 3wheeler.org but I think a lot of the same folks from there are also here. If you find something cheap enough on eBay that absolutely refuses to ship to Canada (the odd time e-mailing sellers will find you someone who will ship to Canada despite their auction saying US only), one of us can be the middleman. I've done it for folks before on other forums I belong to.

The problem with the Ebay carbs is that I just think that they are overpriced. I've also tried on 3wheeler.org, but I haven't got one reply.

That looks to be missing the slide and top cap, which I don't have, but I'll keep an eye on the bidding, and I might ask if he'll ship to Canada.

A lot of people don't seem to agree with me getting a carb for my 90. I've had a few different ads on Kijiji looking for a carb for a while, and I did have in my ads that I can get a new one online for about $45.
I got this responce today:
"buddy spend the $45 and stop waisting everybodys time!! people like you should be banned from kijiji!!!! what do you want someone to give you one for free??????"
This was my responce:
"I never once said I wanted one for free, I'm looking for one around
$25, and if my math is correct, that is lower than $45.
It's people that respond to ads in the way that you just did are the
ones that should be banned from Kijiji."

I hopefully will be able to do that tomorow, and if it does run, it will be LOAD! It has no exhaust, including the headpipe. I'll get some angled plumbing connections, and use an old bike frame I have for tubing and make something.
This will the the most redneck-engineered trike here on 3WW!
